Hope soon becomes corroded

This work explores the relationship between emerging sexualities and life as performance. With influences as diverse as Kafka and Buckminster Fuller, new variations are manufactured from both mundane and transcendant discourse.

Ever since I was a student I have been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of the human condition. What starts out as triumph soon becomes finessed into a dialectic of power, leaving only a sense of unreality and the chance of a new reality.

As intermittent derivatives become reconfigured through studious and critical practice, the viewer is left with a hymn to the limits of our era.
